Intro

As Product Designer, I was responsible for designing the CMS experience, defining content management workflows, and ensuring the platform could scale alongside the organization's growing digital ecosystem.

The problem

Hope Media Group needed a centralized content management experience capable of supporting multiple brands, websites, and content types. The challenge was creating a system flexible enough to accommodate each brand's unique identity while providing a consistent publishing experience for content teams.

The approach

I began by identifying the needs of the various stakeholders responsible for managing content across different brands. Through workflow mapping, requirements gathering, and collaboration with engineering, I defined a CMS structure that balanced flexibility with consistency.

The solution focused on creating reusable content patterns, scalable publishing workflows, and clear administrative controls. Special attention was given to reducing complexity for editors while ensuring the system could support multiple brands, content types, and future expansion.

Deliverables included:

•CMS architecture and workflow mapping
• Content publishing interfaces
• Multi-brand management patterns
• Design system components
• Administrative tools and permissions
• High-fidelity UI designs

The Outcome

The final solution transformed a technically complex qualification process into a guided customer journey. By clarifying service availability states, waitlist opportunities, and promotional incentives, the new experience helped customers better understand their options and move through checkout with greater confidence.

The redesigned flow balanced business requirements with user needs, creating a more intuitive experience without requiring significant changes to the existing backend architecture.
